The Nwobi Political Dynasty has thrown its weight behind Anayo Onwuegbu, dismissing circulating voice notes and publications against him as “false and misleading.”
In a statement by spokesman Joe Udefi, the group urged residents of Awgu to stay alert to what it described as “political attention seekers” trying to discredit the federal lawmaker representing Aninri, Awgu, and Oji-River.
The group said the allegations were aimed at undermining Onwuegbu’s performance and reputation, insisting they lack any factual basis.
Highlighting his achievements, the group pointed to projects like the upgrade of Achi Hospital, construction of classroom blocks in Awgu, and scholarships for students.
It warned those behind the publications to desist or face possible legal action, stressing that the lawmaker remains committed to delivering development for his constituents.
