Diaspora hails visit as a boost for diplomacy, trade and national pride
Nigerians living in Turkey have applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s official visit to the country, calling it a major diplomatic win for Nigeria.
Speaking in Turkey, Ambassador Prince Magboh, President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, said the visit strengthened Nigeria–Turkey ties and showcased the value of diaspora engagement in projecting Nigeria globally.
He described the interaction with the President as inspiring and inclusive, noting that Nigerians in Turkey were proud to welcome him. According to Magboh, the visit—backed by senior Nigerian officials—will unlock deeper cooperation in trade, security, investment and cultural exchange.
He added that the Nigerian community in Turkey remains committed to supporting Nigeria’s development agenda and building on the gains of the historic visit.
