OONI OF IFE NAMED GRAND PATRON OF YORUBA ELDERS’ COUNCIL
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has been appointed Grand Patron of the Yoruba elders’ council, “Egbe Olodo Ide Igbimo Agbagba Ile Yoruba.” According to a statement from the Ooni’s Palace, one of the monarch’s queens, Olori Ashley, was also installed as the Iyalode of the organisation in recognition of her cultural advocacy efforts.…
