Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has disclosed that he is currently experiencing difficulty walking and occasional swelling in parts of his body, while expressing hope for recovery.
Edochie made the disclosure during a visit to ailing Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah in Accra on Thursday, October 1st. He is in Ghana to launch the Pete Edochie Legacy Project, an initiative celebrating his contribution to African cinema and storytelling.
A video from the visit showed Edochie praying with Armah and offering him financial support. Speaking about his own condition, the veteran actor said walking had become difficult and that he sometimes woke up with swelling in parts of his body, which later subsided.
Despite the challenges, Edochie expressed optimism about recovering and prayed for strength while also wishing Armah a return to good health. His comments have prompted concern and messages of support from fans and well-wishers.
