The organisers of the Bigi X Fearless Soundcity On Tour say the initiative is providing emerging campus talents with opportunities to develop their skills and build careers within Nigeria’s creative economy.

Bigi Brand Manager, Biola Aransiola, said during a media update in Lagos on Wednesday that the nationwide tour would visit 20 campuses, featuring digital submissions, campus auditions, regional competitions and a grand finale in Abuja.

She said each campus would produce five finalists, with the top three winning ₦500,000, ₦350,000 and ₦150,000 respectively, while the campus winner advances to the regional stage. Participants also have opportunities for mentorship, career guidance and other forms of support.

The initiative also features the Fearless Dance Challenge, allowing students to showcase their dance and music abilities while gaining exposure. Aransiola said the programme was designed to identify talent early and help young creatives move from campus into sustainable careers.

She said the national winner would receive two songs, a music video, media promotion and mentorship on managing fame, while selected contestants could benefit from guidance provided by industry professionals.

The tour has already visited institutions including Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Yaba College of Technology, UNILAG, University of Uyo, University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan.

At UNILAG, about 25 emerging artistes performed alongside established acts including Qing Madi, Falz, Joeboy, Wande Coal and Mr P of P-Square.
