Nigerian music stars Mayorkun and Davido are teaming up again with the release of “B4 B4,” a new collaboration set to drop on July 31 as part of Davido’s forthcoming album, Oriadé.
Mayorkun announced the track on Instagram with a promotional photo alongside Davido, while the Afrobeats superstar fueled fans’ excitement by responding with the words: “WE BACK.” The announcement quickly attracted reactions from fellow entertainers and music lovers eagerly awaiting the reunion.
The collaboration marks the first major musical reunion between the duo since Mayorkun left Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2021 to pursue his career as an independent artiste. Over the years, they have delivered fan-favourite songs including “Prayer,” “Mind,” “Betty Butter,” “The Best,” and “Cho Cho.”
With anticipation already building around Oriadé, fans are looking forward to hearing the chemistry that helped make Davido and Mayorkun one of Afrobeats’ most successful musical partnerships.
