Nigerian singer Portable has thrown down the gauntlet to veteran entertainer Terry G, challenging him to a celebrity boxing match.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Rubbin Minds, Portable said a fight between both artistes would generate excitement among fans and put the spotlight back on Terry G. He added that he prefers boxing fellow entertainers rather than social media personalities.
The controversial singer also described himself as one of the pioneers of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, noting that the sport-entertainment crossover has become a lucrative venture for him over the years.
Portable is currently preparing for a rematch with actor Charles Okocha scheduled for July 31 in Lagos. Whether Terry G accepts the challenge remains to be seen, but the proposal has already sparked conversations among fans online.
