The Command’s Area Comptroller, Mr Olukayode Afeni, disclosed this while handing over the drugs to Mr Olaniyi Ekundayo, Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Idiroko Special Area Command, at Idiroko on Thursday June 25.

Receiving the seized drugs, Ekundayo lauded the strong synergy between NCS and NDLEA, urging the strengthening of relations to combat drug abuse and trafficking in Nigeria.

According to Ekundayo, meaningful progress in combating drug abuse and trafficking can only be achieved through sustained collaboration among stakeholders, and renewed commitment to the fight against illicit drugs.
