A new digital platform has been launched in Lagos by the Nigerian Teachers Community (NTC) to support teachers with better earning opportunities and reduce the rate of exit from the education sector.

The platform allows teachers to host and monetise online classes and other educational services. It was developed with partners, including Hallos, a live-learning platform focused on digital education.

According to organisers, the goal is to connect qualified teachers with learners globally while helping educators earn more sustainable incomes through technology-driven solutions.

Stakeholders at the launch described the initiative as timely and a step toward strengthening Nigeria’s education system. Overall, it is aimed at improving opportunities for teachers and learning access for students.
