Ile-Ife, May 2, 2026 — The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has conferred the prestigious “Yeye Moremi of Oodua” title on Folusho Amosun during her 60th birthday celebration.
The monarch described her as compassionate and selfless, saying the title—linked to the legendary Moremi Ajasoro—is reserved for women of exceptional character and service.
Dignitaries, including Seyi Makinde and Bola Obasanjo, praised the honour, highlighting its cultural significance and message of unity across political lines.
