NPRW 2026: AFRICA’S FOOD SECURITY VOICE TO HEADLINE KADUNA SUMMIT

Listen

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has unveiled Brylyne Chitsunge as the keynote speaker for Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) 2026.

The event, tagged “Croc City 2026,” will hold in Kaduna from April 19 to 25, bringing together top voices from across Africa and beyond to tackle a big issue: how communication can turn food policies into real meals on people’s tables.

Chitsunge, a Pan-African Parliament Ambassador for Food Security and CEO of Elpasso Farms, is widely known for championing sustainable agriculture and empowering farmers—especially women and youth.

Organisers say her keynote will focus on how public relations can bridge the gap between policy and real-life impact, making food security efforts more practical, visible, and effective.

Chairman of the planning committee, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, described her as a strong link between “policy, practice, and impact,” while NIPR President, Ike Neliaku, said her selection reflects a push for African-driven solutions backed by global expertise.

The week-long conference is expected to draw over 2,000 participants, including policymakers, PR professionals, agribusiness leaders, and development partners, with sessions focused on practical solutions to Nigeria’s food security challenges.

With her announcement, anticipation is building for what many are calling a landmark edition of NPRW.
