INSIDE THE SHADOW FILE: ISRAEL INDICTS WOMAN OVER ALLEGED IRAN SPY MISSION

Listen

A digital handler, secret photos, and sensitive sites — what looked like quiet routine life has now exploded into a serious espionage case.

Authorities in Israel have filed an indictment against a woman accused of spying for Iran in a case that’s raising fresh security concerns.

The suspect, Shomou Abed, an Arab-Israeli from Nazareth, was arrested in March in a joint operation by the Israel Police and the internal security service Shin Bet.

Investigators say she had been in contact with an Iranian handler since October 2025 and allegedly completed paid assignments.

Those tasks reportedly included snapping photos of sensitive military sites, including bases and the Haifa oil refineries, and gathering information on a former Israeli security official.

She now faces charges as authorities dig deeper into what they believe could be part of a wider intelligence network.

The quiet world of espionage just got very loud again.
