Nollywood fans turn out in droves—‘The Return of Arinzo’ delivers record-breaking Easter weekend!
Iyabo Ojo’s much-anticipated movie, The Return of Arinzo, raked in N104.8 million during its opening weekend, making it the biggest Easter opening ever at the Nigerian box office.
The FilmOne Entertainment-distributed movie also claimed the crown as the highest-grossing sequel and the second-highest opening of 2026, drawing packed cinemas nationwide.
In a statement on Instagram, FilmOne thanked fans: “Return of Arinze is back and it came with a banger! N104.8 million in its opening weekend—biggest Easter opening and the highest-grossing film of the weekend.”
With continued strong turnouts, the film is poised to maintain its box office momentum in the coming weeks.
