The U.S. and Israel are intensifying operations in Iran, hitting thousands of strategic targets in a conflict that has now lasted over a month.
The U.S. military says it has struck more than 12,300 targets in Iran, including 155 Iranian vessels, aiming to dismantle Tehran’s security infrastructure and neutralize locations posing imminent threats, CENTCOM said Wednesday. The strikes are part of a coordinated effort to degrade Iran’s military capabilities amid escalating regional tensions.
Israel has also been active, reportedly carrying out over 800 airstrikes since the conflict began on February 28. Iran has responded with attacks targeting Israel and U.S. allies in the Gulf, heightening instability in the region.
CENTCOM emphasized that U.S. forces are focusing on strategic and operational targets to minimize civilian impact while ensuring the security of allied interests. Both U.S. and Israeli operations highlight a sustained campaign aimed at weakening Iran’s ability to threaten regional stability.
The situation remains tense, with military analysts warning that the conflict could intensify if counterstrikes continue, keeping global attention on the Gulf and Middle East security dynamics.
