Three senior officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps just stepped into top leadership roles — and the message from headquarters is clear: the spotlight is now on their performance.
Kehinde Ayuba, David Ekpekpe and Caleb Yerima have been elevated to the rank of Corps Commander across the Kwara Zonal Command. The promotion moves them from Deputy Corps Commanders to strategic leadership roles overseeing operations in Kwara, Kogi and Ekiti states.
At the decoration ceremony, Zonal Commanding Officer Ann Oladayo said the officers earned the promotion through “capacity, confidence and character” — but reminded them the new rank comes with greater responsibility and public scrutiny.
She urged them to lead with integrity, embrace technology, improve collaboration and boost operational efficiency across their commands.
Sector Commander Mufutau Irekeola also described the promotion as a call to greater service, warning that their performance will be closely monitored by national headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking for the newly promoted officers, Caleb Yerima thanked the FRSC leadership and pledged they would live up to expectations.
