FRSC SHAKES UP COMMAND: 162 OFFICERS REDEPLOYED, NEW SPOKESPERSON APPOINTED

The Federal Road Safety Corps is hitting the accelerator on road safety with a major high-command overhaul and fresh leadership in public communication.

Malam Shehu Mohammed, Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, has approved the redeployment of 162 senior officers to strengthen operations and improve road safety nationwide.

New Zonal Commanders:
ACM C.Z. Mathew – RS5HQ Benin
ACM A.L.O. Ruk – RS9HQ Enugu
ACM B.S. Akande – RS10HQ Sokoto
ACM Leye Adegboyega – RS12HQ Bauchi
Key Sector Redeployments: Officers posted to FCT, Rivers, Kaduna, Bauchi, Imo, Benue, Yobe, Ogun, Delta, Osun, Kogi, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom to boost field operations.
New Spokesperson: Deputy Corps Commander Osondu Ohaeri promoted to lead the Corps’ public communication efforts.

The Corps Marshal stressed that postings were based on competence, track record, and national service needs, urging officers to demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and commitment. He also reaffirmed the Corps’ zero tolerance for traffic violations and preventable crashes.
