Delta’s governor rolls out warm tributes as the State Assembly Speaker marks a new age milestone.
Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated Emomotimi Guwor on his 47th birthday, praising his leadership and impact on governance in Delta State.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor described Guwor—who also chairs the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria—as a purpose-driven leader committed to legislative excellence and development.
Oborevwori credited the Speaker with maintaining stability in the State House of Assembly, strengthening cooperation among the arms of government and ensuring smooth passage of impactful laws aimed at improving the welfare of Delta residents.
He also highlighted the Assembly’s alignment with his administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda, noting that the synergy has accelerated progress across key sectors.
The governor prayed for the Speaker’s continued good health, long life and greater achievements as he celebrates another year.
