Major career boost across the Corps as 120 senior officers move up the ranks to strengthen leadership and performance.
The Federal Road Safety Corps has promoted 120 senior officers nationwide in a move aimed at building a stronger, more results-driven workforce.
The promotion, approved by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and effective from Jan. 1, 2026, includes 19 officers elevated to Assistant Corps Marshal, 55 Deputy Corps Commanders promoted to Corps Commander, and 46 Assistant Corps Commanders advanced to Deputy Corps Commander.
FRSC says the promotions recognise outstanding service, leadership and dedication to the Corps’ mission of saving lives on Nigerian roads.
The Corps Marshal urged the newly promoted officers to see the elevation as a call to greater responsibility and to intensify efforts toward reducing road crashes and improving safety nationwide.
Officers will officially wear their new ranks after formal decoration ceremonies.
