ANAMBRA COMMUNITY TO GET HYBRID LIBRARY BOOSTING DIGITAL LEARNING

A new library blending books and e-learning is on the way — giving students a smarter place to study, especially during holidays.

Aguata LGA in Anambra has unveiled plans to build a modern hybrid community library in Igboukwu, combining traditional books with digital learning tools to improve access to knowledge.

Council Chairman Dr Chibueze Ofobuike says the project reflects the local government’s strong focus on education, describing learning as one of the most valuable investments any government can make.

The library is expected to provide students and residents with study materials year-round, particularly during long school holidays when access to resources is limited.

The council also revealed it has already renovated the Nkpologwu community library as part of wider efforts to strengthen learning infrastructure across the area.

Education officials say the new facility will benefit students, researchers and the wider community once completed.
