Plateau government moves fast with emergency curfew after gunmen strike Angwan Rukuba community.
The Plateau State Government has imposed a 48-hour curfew on Jos North Local Government Area following a deadly Sunday night attack in Angwan Rukuba.
State Commissioner for Information, Joyce Ramnap, said the curfew began at midnight on March 29 and will run until April 1. The attack reportedly left several people dead and others injured.
Authorities condemned the violence and urged residents to remain calm and obey the restrictions, assuring that security agencies are working to prevent further attacks and bring the perpetrators to justice.
