3,000 ELDERS BENEFIT FROM FREE HEALTH OUTREACH BY TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP IN ONDO

A political support group in Ondo State says its health outreach is quietly making a big social impact—reaching thousands of elderly residents with free medical care.

No fewer than 3,000 elders have benefited from a free medical outreach organised by the PBAT Mandate Elders’ Forum in Ondo State over the past six months.

The group, which mobilises support for President Bola Tinubu, says the initiative is focused on improving the wellbeing of elderly citizens while also promoting grassroots engagement.

Speaking at its monthly meeting in Akure, facilitator Elder Demola Ijabiyi said the outreach—sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo—has provided free healthcare services to seniors across the state.

He noted that feedback from beneficiaries has been overwhelmingly positive, adding that the programme has strengthened unity within the group and improved community relations.

Ijabiyi also called for continued support for the administration and encouraged members to sensitise eligible voters ahead of future elections.

The group’s assistant secretary, Mrs. Bukky Abike-Oluderu, said the meeting reviewed ongoing programmes and reaffirmed commitment to sustaining medical outreach for elders.

She added that women and grassroots supporters should continue to rally behind the administration’s policies and development efforts.

Bottom line: Organisers say beyond politics, the initiative is delivering real health support to thousands of elderly residents.
