Students get a breather as the Kwara State Government eases movement restrictions to ensure smooth access to exam centres.*
Kwara State has lifted its usual movement restriction during Saturday’s environmental sanitation to accommodate candidates sitting for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) mock exam.
According to the Ministry of Environment, the sanitation exercise will still hold from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., but vehicular and human movement will be allowed.
Commissioner Nafisat Musa-Buge said the adjustment is to ensure students can easily reach their exam centres across the state.
Residents are, however, urged to still take advantage of the period to clean their surroundings, with waste collection trucks deployed for proper disposal.
Bottom line: Clean your environment—but students come first this Saturday.
