EID TRAVEL: FRSC PRAISES MOTORISTS, OFFICERS FOR DISCIPLINED ROADS

Smooth journeys, fewer incidents—FRSC says Nigerians showed up responsibly on the roads during the festive rush.

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, has commended motorists and operatives for their orderly conduct during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

He credited the success of the nationwide patrol to better compliance with traffic rules and the professionalism of FRSC personnel, which helped ensure safer highways and smoother traffic flow.

According to him, road users showed notable discipline, while officers on duty demonstrated commitment, vigilance, and resilience throughout the festive period.

Although a few minor violations were recorded, the FRSC described the overall outcome as highly commendable, with no cases of misconduct reported against its personnel.

The corps marshal, however, warned against reckless driving, stressing that strict adherence to traffic laws remains the key to reducing road crashes. He urged Nigerians to maintain safe driving habits beyond festive seasons.
