CHINA WARNS: STOP MIDEAST STRIKES NOW OR FACE CHAOS

Beijing is sounding the alarm, urging the U.S. and Israel to halt military action before the region spirals into deeper crisis.

China has called on all parties in the Middle East conflict—especially the U.S. and Israel—to immediately stop military operations, warning that continued violence could trigger a dangerous “vicious cycle.”

Speaking after a regional diplomatic tour, China’s envoy Zhai Jun stressed that those responsible for escalating tensions must take the lead in resolving them.

Beijing says it will continue engaging all sides diplomatically to push for de-escalation and restore stability across the region.

Backing the stance, foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian warned that further escalation could plunge the entire Middle East into chaos.

The call comes amid rising tensions tied to threats by Donald Trump over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz—a critical passage for global oil and gas supply.

Analysts warn the conflict is already rattling global markets, with fears it could slow economic growth and disrupt trade, including China’s exports.

While China is relatively cushioned due to diversified energy sources and reserves, prolonged instability could still drive inflation and weaken demand from key trading partners.

For now, Beijing says diplomacy—not force—remains the only path to peace.
