“BAN AIRSTRIKES NOW!” POPE LEO BLASTS AERIAL BOMBARDMENTS

As global tensions rise, the Pope is calling for an outright ban on airstrikes, warning they bring indiscriminate death from the skies.

Pope Leo has strongly condemned aerial military strikes, describing them as indiscriminate and urging that they be banned entirely.

Speaking in Vatican City, the pontiff said no one should live in fear of sudden destruction from above, stressing that such tactics should have been outlawed after the devastation of the 20th century.

“Bombings from the sky are not progress—they are regression,” he said.

Although he did not directly mention the ongoing U.S.-Israel Iran conflict, his remarks come as the war enters its fourth week, with rising global concern over civilian casualties.

The Pope has consistently called for an immediate ceasefire, previously describing the conflict as “a scandal to the whole human family.”

His latest comments add to growing international voices pushing for an end to modern warfare tactics that endanger civilian lives.
