RTIFN MARKS EID-EL-FITR WITH SUPPORT DRIVE IN CALABAR MUSLIM COMMUNITY

A youth group in Cross River has celebrated Eid-el-Fitr by reaching out to a Muslim community in Calabar with gifts and solidarity messages.

The Cross River chapter of the youth-based organisation Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) has distributed support items to residents of the Nasarawa community in Calabar to mark Eid-el-Fitr.

The group joined worshippers for prayers and celebrations, describing the gesture as part of efforts to promote unity, inclusivity, and stronger community ties across religious lines.

State coordinator Anjor Obande said the outreach reflects RTIFN’s commitment to grassroots engagement and support for development efforts in both the state and the country.

He also linked the initiative to broader support for the administrations of President Bola Tinubu and Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu.

Community leader, the Sarkin Nasarawa, Alhaji Sani Gombe, praised the gesture, calling it a symbol of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, while praying for continued unity and progress.

The event ended in a festive atmosphere, with residents coming together in the spirit of Ramadan and Eid.
