IRGC SPOKESMAN KILLED AS STRIKES ESCALATE IN IRAN, LEADERSHIP SHAKE-UP REPORTED

Tensions deepen in Iran after a senior military spokesman is killed in an attack, alongside reports of major leadership changes at the top.

The spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ali Mohammad Naini, has been killed in an attack, according to Iranian media reports.

The Tasnim news agency, which is close to the IRGC, said the strike—blamed by the force on Israel and the United States—also adds to a growing list of senior Iranian figures killed in recent days.

Naini, described as a veteran commander with over four decades of service, was reportedly among the latest high-ranking casualties amid ongoing strikes.

In the broader escalation, reports also claim Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed in the early hours of a joint military campaign and has since been replaced by his son, Mojtaba Khamenei.

The situation marks a dramatic and fast-moving turn in regional tensions, with multiple top Iranian security and political figures reportedly affected.
