FRSC CRACKS DOWN: 17 TRAFFIC OFFENDERS CONVICTED ON LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY

No mercy on the road! The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun has convicted 17 motorists at a mobile court in Ogere for various traffic offences.

FRSC spokesperson Odunsi Afolabi said the court, presided over by Magistrate O.S. Fadahunsi, handed down convictions to all offenders—no discharges were granted. The move is part of ongoing efforts to enforce road discipline and keep major highways safe.

Akinwunmi Fasakin, the Sector Commander, stressed that strict enforcement of traffic laws is key to reducing accidents and easing congestion along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. He warned that the mobile court will continue to clamp down on reckless driving and statutory violations, urging motorists to stay law-abiding.
