BON, LCDA LAUNCH NOLLYWOOD BOOTCAMP FOR YOUTHS

Lights, camera, opportunity! Young creatives in Lagos set to gain hands-on Nollywood skills from top industry players.

The Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) has teamed up with Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA to train young talents in key areas of Nigeria’s booming film industry.

According to BON Executive Producer Feranmi Olaoye, the three-day intensive programme will equip participants with practical skills in acting, directing, scriptwriting, and film production.

Even better, trainees will learn directly from Nollywood professionals like Biodun Stephens, Jide Awobona, and Judith Audu — gaining real-world insights and mentorship.

The training, scheduled for March 25–28, is designed especially for young people passionate about storytelling but lacking access to formal training.

Organisers say the goal goes beyond learning — it’s about building sustainable careers and unlocking opportunities in Nollywood.

Bottom line: this initiative is opening doors for grassroots talents to step into Nigeria’s creative spotlight.
