ADAMAWA WORKS COMMISSIONER RETURNS “HOME,” PROMISES RESULTS

Freshly sworn in and already hitting the ground running, Adamawa’s new Works Commissioner says it’s time to deliver.

Speaking in Yola shortly after taking the oath of office, Muhammed Suleiman pledged full commitment to driving infrastructure development, thanking Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for the trust placed in him.

For Suleiman, the appointment is more than just a new role—it’s a homecoming. He described his return to the ministry as emotional, recalling how he started his career there and rose through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.

Armed with years of experience and a deep understanding of the administration’s vision, the engineer-turned-commissioner said he is well-prepared to build on what he called the government’s “unprecedented” infrastructural strides.

He also called for teamwork, urging ministry staff and the media to support efforts aimed at achieving set development goals.

Backing him up, Permanent Secretary Dogara Musa described the appointment as well-deserved, noting Suleiman’s track record and assuring him of full cooperation from staff.

Suleiman is among the latest set of officials sworn in by the governor as part of moves to strengthen governance and service delivery in the state.
