Abuja – President Bola Tinubu on Monday assured Nigerians that the country will defeat terrorists and protect its unity and sovereignty. Speaking at an interfaith breaking of fast at the Presidential Villa, Tinubu praised religious and traditional leaders for promoting peace and moral guidance.
“Yes, terrorists are desperate, but Nigeria will never surrender. We are going to win—and win well,” he said, adding that the economy is stabilising, pensions are improving, and states no longer struggle to pay workers’ salaries. Tinubu also pledged continued investment in agriculture, education, and national prosperity.
Religious leaders, including Etsu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar and CAN President Archbishop Daniel Okoh, reaffirmed support for peace and economic growth. Leaders from all six geopolitical zones attended the event, symbolising national unity.
