IRAN VOWS TO “DETERMINE END OF WAR,” DEFIES U.S. CLAIMS

Tehran – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has fired back at U.S. claims that the conflict may soon be over, insisting it alone will “determine the end of the war.”

In a statement carried by Tasnim News, the IRGC said: “The conditions on the battlefield and the end of the war are in the hands of the Islamic Republic.”

The statement came after former U.S. President Donald Trump told CBS News that the war is “very complete,” claiming Iran’s navy, air force, missiles, and drones have been largely destroyed. He also said U.S. forces are “very far ahead” of his initial four- to five-week timetable.

The conflict erupted after U.S. and Israeli strikes in late February targeted Iran’s leadership, military infrastructure, and air defenses. Despite U.S. confidence, Tehran’s hardline military is signaling it will decide when—and how—the fighting ends.

The standoff underscores the uncertainty in the Middle East, with both sides signaling determination as tensions escalate.
