Nigeria is sending 36 teams, including *visually impaired students, to the *Codeavour 7.0 International Championship in Indonesia this May after a thrilling national finale at Charterhouse Lagos.
The standout ‘Beyond Sight’ team amazed judges with AI-powered audio glasses and a smart walking stick designed to help visually impaired people navigate safely, proving that innovation has no physical boundaries.
Mrs. Habeebah Ibrahim, CEO of Beebahtics Enterprise, praised the students for breaking barriers and demonstrating how inclusive STEM education can empower every child to lead in the digital revolution.
Rector of Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Ibraheem Abdul, and STEM Childcare Academy CEO, Mamu Muhammad, also lauded the young innovators, noting their projects signal a bright future for Nigeria’s engineering and software development.
Winners across three tracks now head to Jakarta, Indonesia, to showcase Nigerian AI, robotics, and coding solutions on the global stage.
