MISSILE DEBRIS HITS SHIP IN BAHRAIN, 1 DEAD, 2 CRITICALLY INJURED

A port near Bahrain’s capital turned deadly after falling missile debris sparked a fire aboard a ship.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said fragments from an intercepted missile struck a vessel in a port area close to Manama, igniting a blaze that killed one worker and left two others seriously injured. The fire has since been extinguished.

The incident comes amid escalating Iranian retaliatory strikes across the region, targeting U.S. allies and military positions. Bahrain hosts the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, a major hub for American operations in the Middle East.

Earlier, the United States Embassy in Bahrain advised American citizens to avoid hotels in Manama, warning they could become potential targets. On Saturday, an Iranian drone strike also hit Bahrain International Airport, causing property damage.

With tensions rising and key infrastructure now affected, concerns are growing about the widening impact of the regional conflict.
