FHC CHIEF JUDGE TSOHO READY TO FACE CCB OVER ASSET DECLARATION CLAIMS

The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, says he’s prepared to appear before the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) over allegations that he failed to declare some bank accounts in his asset form.

In a statement issued by the court’s Director of Information, Dr Catherine Christopher, Tsoho reaffirmed his willingness to cooperate fully with the investigation. However, he said he would honour the invitation once his lawyer, Kanu Agabi (SAN), returns from medical treatment abroad.

The court noted that the Chief Judge has exercised his constitutional right to legal representation and has informed the CCB that any date from the week beginning March 16, 2026, is suitable for both him and his counsel.

Tsoho reiterated his commitment to due process, transparency and the rule of law as the matter unfolds.
