The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has greenlit N7.3 billion for waste collection and management in Durumi, Wuye, Mabushi, and Jabi, officials announced on Monday.
Chief Felix Obuah, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council Coordinator, said the funding also covers two years of diesel supply for the Wupa Basic Waste Treatment Plant. The committee additionally approved contracts to provide food and non-food support to flood-affected residents across the FCT.
