RUSSIA STRIKES UKRAINE: DOZENS INJURED IN MASSIVE DRONE AND MISSILE ATTACKS

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported widespread Russian attacks on Thursday, targeting gas facilities in Poltava and power substations in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk. Ukrainian forces intercepted most of the assault, which included 11 ballistic missiles.

In Kharkiv, 16 people were injured, including two minors; one building was destroyed. In Zaporizhzhya, eight were hurt, including an 8-year-old, with damage to 19 homes and two shopping centers. Kryvyi Rih also reported injuries from drone and artillery strikes.

The attacks come as Ukraine, defending against Russia’s invasion for over four years, plans reconstruction talks with U.S. officials in Geneva, potentially paving the way for a trilateral meeting with Russia.
