Former Secretary of State set for closed-door Congress session over Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to testify under oath before Congress on Thursday regarding the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, is expected to testify the following day.
The sessions will be conducted via video link and are closed to the public, leaving details of their testimony unclear. Both Clintons had initially resisted testifying, prompting accusations from Democrats that House Republicans, led by James Comer, were pursuing a politically motivated inquiry.
Bill Clinton has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein, who ran a high-profile abuse ring and died in prison in 2019 before facing conviction.
