DISCIPLINE, HUMILITY KEY TO MUSIC SUCCESS — FUNKY4GANG TELLS UPCOMING ARTISTES

Upcoming artistes chasing fame have been reminded that talent alone won’t take them far—discipline, humility, and the right exposure are the real game changers.

Enugu-based entertainment group, Funky4Gang, has urged emerging musicians to stay disciplined, humble, and focused, stressing that character and consistency are just as important as talent in building a lasting music career.

The group’s CEO, Prince Osifu Osaro, popularly known as DJ Funky, gave the advice during the Funky4Gang Entertainment Concert held at Amadeo Event Centre, Enugu. He said humility can open doors that money cannot, and warned that many talented artistes fail because they lack discipline and direction.

According to him, the concert was designed to give upcoming artistes across the South-East a platform to showcase their talent, connect with industry players, and secure life-changing opportunities such as record deals and sponsorships.

Beyond entertainment, the event also focused on youth development, with experts educating participants on the dangers of drug abuse and harmful lifestyles. Osaro said entertainment should serve as a tool for positive change, not destruction.

He also called on government and media organisations to create stronger platforms to promote local talents, noting that improved exposure could help South-East artistes gain national and global recognition.

The concert attracted thousands of youths, record label executives, influencers, and top performers, creating opportunities for networking, talent discovery, and career growth.
