Crackdown on crime pays off in Oyo State!
The Oyo State Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers—Aliu Umaru (22), Gure Wadi (60), and Ibrahim Yobo (35)—and recovered a single-barrel gun and a dane gun during a coordinated operation. Umaru, wanted for the abduction of Huseinat Abubakar (25), led officers to his accomplices in Komu Village.
CP Femi Haruna praised the officers’ bravery and professionalism, promising intensified efforts to track other fleeing gang members. He thanked IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun and the public for timely intelligence that helped the operation.
