OGUN TURNS 50: TUESDAY DECLARED PUBLIC HOLIDAY

Governor Abiodun urges residents to join Golden Jubilee celebrations.

To mark Ogun State’s 50th anniversary, Governor Dapo Abiodun has declared Tuesday a public holiday across the state. The move aims to give residents time to fully participate in the Golden Jubilee activities.

The Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, said the milestone celebrates five decades of growth, political progress, and contributions to national development. He urged citizens to join the festivities in a spirit of unity and peace, while reflecting on the past and envisioning a prosperous future.
