LAGOS COURTS INVESTORS AT NIGERIA–UAE FORUM

Sanwo-Olu promises a business-friendly Lagos as city positions itself for global investment.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday urged local and international investors to explore Lagos’ vast opportunities, pledging supportive policies, robust infrastructure, and a secure environment.

Speaking at the Nigeria–UAE Investment Forum, ‘Investopia Global Africa’, the governor highlighted key projects including the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Badagry Port, plans for a new international airport, and the Lagos International Financial Centre as pillars for growth and investment.

“Lagos is leading Nigeria’s investment conversation. We are removing red tape and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive,” Sanwo-Olu said, emphasizing security as central to the state’s agenda.

The governor assured that Lagos is open to partnerships across sectors, aiming to drive sustainable development and make the city Africa’s premier commercial hub.
