COAS EYES LOGISTICS TO KEEP NAF AIRPOWER MISSION-READY

Strong logistics = stronger airpower!

The Chief of Air Staff (COAS) says logistics is key to keeping the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) operationally ready in the fight against insurgency and terrorism. During a three-day visit to Logistics Command in Lagos, he inspected personnel readiness, aircraft serviceability, and facilities critical to nationwide operations.

According to the COAS, Lagos is the backbone of NAF logistics, and robust supply chains, maintenance systems, and motivated personnel directly impact aircraft availability, mission turnaround, and operational sustainability.

He also commissioned new welfare projects at 055 NAF Camp, including residential blocks and a sports complex, emphasizing that personnel welfare is a force multiplier for mission success.

The COAS thanked the Federal Government, National Assembly, and President Tinubu for supporting NAF operations, urging officers to remain disciplined and professional to sustain Nigeria’s airpower.
