Party says critics are spreading falsehoods as millions voluntarily register under “Renewed Hope Agenda”.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected claims by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) that it pressured civil servants to take part in its electronic membership registration.
APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described the allegations as false, baseless, and deliberately misleading, accusing ADC of running a disinformation campaign, including circulating a fake APC membership slip linked to a known terrorist.
Morka said the surge in voluntary registrations prompted the party to extend the e-registration deadline from Jan. 31 to Feb. 8, highlighting the success of its digitisation drive.
“While the ADC fumbles and peddles lies, our great party remains focused on its onward march,” Morka added.
