The numbers are rising—and the party says it’s just getting started. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has registered over 70,000 members across Yobe’s 17 local government areas through its ongoing e-membership registration drive.
State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka, revealed the figures in Damaturu, noting that Yobe now ranks among the top states in the North-East for party membership. Still, he insists the push isn’t over.
“We’re mobilising grassroots leaders to bring in even more people,” Gadaka said, stressing unity, loyalty and commitment as the party gears up for 2027. He added that APC remains focused on justice, equity and inclusive governance, promising to carry members along in all party activities.
