JESUS HEROICS SEND ARSENAL INTO UCL LAST-16

Gabriel Jesus was unstoppable as Arsenal crushed Inter Milan 3-1 at the San Siro on Tuesday, sealing their spot in the UEFA Champions League last 16.

The Brazilian striker scored twice in the first half (10′ & 31′), marking his return to form after nearly a year out with a cruciate ligament injury. Arsenal briefly faced a scare when Petar Sucic pulled Inter level in the 18th minute, but clinical finishing and a late goal from Viktor Gyokeres (84′) wrapped up the win.

Jesus, starting only his third game this season, described the night as a dream come true: “To score here at San Siro is tears in my eyes. I always dreamed of being a footballer, and I watched a lot of Serie A growing up.”

With this victory, Arsenal now top their group with 21 points, six clear of the chasing pack, while Inter’s hopes of reaching the top eight hang by a thread after their third straight European defeat.
