KWARA TOPS NATION IN WORLD BANK LIVESTOCK PROJECT—#1 OUT OF 20 STATES!

Kwara State just snagged the gold medal in the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), outshining 19 other states in a World Bank-backed performance showdown—proof that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s ag vision is paying massive dividends!

Project Communication Officer Yusuf Adebisi dropped the news Thursday from Ilorin, citing the National Coordination Office’s independent report that graded states on institutional coordination, financial management, environmental safeguards, security, reporting, and results delivery—Kwara aced them all thanks to timely funding and tight oversight from the Ministry of Livestock Development.

Commissioner Oloruntoyosi Thomas beamed: “This shouts our transparency and impact on livestock chains!” State Coordinator Olusoji Awesome credited teamwork, positioning Kwara as the go-to model with gains like better pastures, animal health, value chains, and opportunities for farmers, women, and youth.
