If you’re planning to perform the 2026 Hajj from Kano State, now is the time to act — no delays, no excuses.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced February 8 as the final deadline for data capturing of all intending pilgrims. The Board’s Director-General, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u, made this known through a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sulaiman Dederi, on Wednesday in Kano.
According to Rabi’u, the deadline follows a directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), which has instructed all states to complete pilgrims’ data capturing on or before the set date.
He warned that intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their international passports must do so immediately, stressing that no extension will be granted after February 8.
To ensure no one is left out, the Director-General urged local government Hajj centre officers to step up awareness campaigns and enlighten prospective pilgrims on the importance of meeting the deadline.
He also reassured the public that the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains fully committed to delivering a smooth, transparent, and successful 2026 Hajj operation.
