Political bombshell brewing: FCT Minister Nyesom Wike vows to expose the full Tinubu-brokered peace terms with Gov Siminalayi Fubara, slamming him for reneging on the June 2023 Rivers truce.
Wike dropped the hint Wednesday during a “thank-you” tour of Tai LGA, Rivers State. “Very soon, we will let people know what we agreed on before Mr President,” he warned, urging locals to shun promise-breakers. Rivers folks are “battle-ready” for 2027, he added—money won’t buy votes, people’s will prevails.
The visit celebrated Tai’s 2023 risk-taking for Tinubu/Wike, yielding federal university, appointments, and infrastructure wins. Sen. Barry Mpigi (APC-Rivers SE) hailed the gains, pledging loyalty. Rep. Bernard Nbar and Tai LGA Chair Mbakpone Okpe doubled down: “Tai keeps its word—we’re rolling votes for Tinubu’s re-run and Wike’s picks.”
