Plateau Gov. Caleb Mutfwang’s wife, Helen Mutfwang, visited four public hospitals Thursday, distributing cash, baby clothes, and provisions to over 100 New Year’s Day mothers and newborns.
Mutfwang, joined by the Commissioner for Women Affairs, called the gesture a welcome for “life’s greatest blessings” and support for families. She urged communities to celebrate new beginnings and potentials.
Mothers expressed gratitude. Comfort Friday (boy, 12:47 a.m., Dadin Kowa PHC) hailed the “timely impact.” Naanmang Krimkat (8:20 a.m.) and others at OLA Hospital, Plateau Specialist (twins at 11:40/11:45 a.m.), and JUTH called the visit overwhelming.
